What is a tri?
Think of each symbol as having four properties: colour, shape,fill and number.
A Tri is a group of three symbols which satisfy all of the follow conditions:
• They all have the same color, or they have three different colors
• They all have the same shape, or they have three different shapes
• They all have the same fill, or they have three different fills
• They all have the same number, or they have three different numbers

All but one of the symbol properties are the same. In the first example, the colors of the symbols are different but the shapes, fills and numbers are the same.
